As an integral member of the community, Canada One Outlets understands the importance of a well-thought-out plan to re-open our shopping centre. Given these uncertain times, we are focused on providing a high level of safety and comfort while ensuring your ability to access the goods and services you require.
COVID-19 will have an impact on our lives for the foreseeable future and we have adapted our operations to reflect this.
Security
Ensuring the safety our employees, visitors and the general public is of the utmost concern. We have a security team onsite 24/7.
Ensuring a high level of comfort for employees, visitors and the general public will be the central purpose of all new protocols, updates, additional signage, and services provided on the property.
Store Operating Hours
As per the announcement by the Ontario government on Wednesday, April 8th 2021, we will be temporarily closed for in-store shopping starting April 8th, until further notice, in accordance with lockdown restrictions across Ontario.
Increased Cleaning and Hygiene Practices
We are implementing enhanced cleaning practices around the property. We are furthering our signage to reinforce proper hand washing and stay at home if ill protocols. Hand sanitizer stations will be located throughout the property.
We strongly recommend that all retailers have protocols in place prior to opening as per the provincial government May 14th announcement. These protocols should follow the guidelines of the provincial and federal health authorities to ensure the comfort and safety of all employees and guests of Canada One Outlets.
Physical Distancing Measures
Canada One Outlets are taking several steps to ensure physical distancing is in effect throughout the property including removing extra seating in the food court, placing guidance for spacing on the floors in all common areas, bathrooms and all areas people may assemble or form lines.
We encourage all employees and guests to use our extensive parking lot to stagger vehicles at least 1 parking spot away from other vehicles.
We strongly encourage all of our Retailers to post their own physical distancing guidelines at the entrance to their store and limit the guest and staff appropriately based on one guest per 36sq ft available in the store.
Security and cleaning staff will be available to manage any lines which may become too large for the individual store to manage as well as patrol the common areas sanitizing surfaces and reminding all guests of the physical distancing guidelines.
